The Saltwater Light Tackle Fishing Club
is a not-for-profit organization having the objectives to enhance members'
saltwater light tackle fishing knowledge and skills, to promote fellowship
among saltwater recreational fishing groups, and to create a forum in which
members can share their experience, expertise, and goodwill. The
Club promotes good sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for our natural
resources. The Club further advocates boating safety, good boating practices,
and continuing education relating to the responsible use of coastal marine

NEWSLETTERS. Our Newsletters are delivered by
email. If you don't have an active email account OR you are not getting
yours, please let the Club Secretary know so we can fix.

MEMBER SURVEY RESULTS. Starting in 2007
and for the following three years the Club polled its members with a survey
to help better understand what their fishing interests were, and then help
match the Club-sponsored activites to those interests. The results from
those surveys are accessible through the links shown on the left.
SAFETY AFLOAT. Complacency kills.

In response to Club member requests, we've added a link to sample Float
Plans that you should consider an essential piece of your tackle box. Take
the time and leave a float plan with someone who cares about you whenever
you go out - regardless of the season.
OUR MEETINGS. We meet on the last Tuesday of
each month (November and December excepted) at the VFW off NC Route 101
in Beaufort, NC. We start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Please join us.
